When my son was younger, he too, ...Excellent post! When my son was younger, he too, did "mouth" objects. He would play with a ball, then lick it, lick the cat, lick a chair... he has since (almost) stopped doing it, but I attributed it to another way of him "feeling" it as well- much like babies do. <BR/><BR/>Now, every once in awhile, he will run something across his lips, or press his lips against an object.
