I was shocked that when I pulled the gluten and casein from their diets (I had two then) both girls started eating veggies, meats and fruits. It was like I flipped a switch! I think when they stopped craving the gluten and casein they were physically able to eat other foods. But as those of us in the autism trenches know, NO two kids are alike. So try veggies in a pill, a chewy and yes, coat the darn broccoli in chocolate if you must! :)Kim Rossi Staglianohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17687828526726281119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37025305.post-59823751132196650252007-01-16T14:18:00.000-08:002007-01-16T14:18:00.000-08:00Forget the greens. He will eat green peppers with lots of mustard, or as I say, eat your mustard with green peppers. :)Estee Klar-Wolfondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04075904929829751057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37025305.post-65432604692428635182007-01-16T11:11:00.000-08:002007-01-16T11:11:00.000-08:00I guess white chocolate would be another species e...I guess white chocolate would be another species entirely? How about chocolate covered-peanut butter filled pretzels---saw those at the store the other day........ Charlie, if milk did not disagree with him, would be grabbing those mice off the plate faster than if the farmer's wife were in hot pursuit.kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01104388229716638534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37025305.post-92051513481328094692007-01-16T07:21:00.000-08:002007-01-16T07:21:00.000-08:00All my kids (autistic one included) love chocolate...All my kids (autistic one included) love chocolate. You might get lucky and find one that Junior will eat.

When I was that age, I wouldn't eat anything green except artichokes (because it was fun to dip the leaves in the melted butter). They probably weren't very healthy, with all that butter, but my mom probably thought of it as a way to get me comfortable with eating green leafy things.

I didn't start eating salads or broccoli until I went away to college, though.abfhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01228622726560993968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37025305.post-39049196369005234782007-01-16T01:36:00.000-08:002007-01-16T01:36:00.000-08:00Did you make those little chocolate mice with a ca...Did you make those little chocolate mice with a candy mold?
