Notable Quote

– things you never expect to hear

This comment was neither coerced nor prompted. I swear this is something never before heard from any child on the planet.

“Oh my gosh! The carpet looks beautiful!”
I defy anyone to challenge that one. I think it was because I’d just vacuumed and the fibres of the carpet seemed mown like grass.

On a side note. A request for information from all dog lovers. Thatcher's tail is still blue from the sidewalk chalk. If anyone has any hints as to how we may return him to his pre-rainbow days, we should be most grateful.

Today I am also over "here" at "5 Minutes for Special Needs Moms."

LOL!

I think you are on your own with that one.

It is like 'Wow Mum! Thanks for doing all the washing!'

I'm presuming Thatcher already had a bath...if so, guess it's going to have to grow out! Too bad it's not Halloween! lol

Interesting on the sidewalk chalk. When Micro-germ 1 was very young, and she is still blonde, I might add, she managed to get green sidewalk chalk in her hair. I used a product called Quik-Silver which I used to use on my white horse. It worked great. Also, you can use any "blueing" product...and some swear by good old cornstarch..

I don't know where you buy your supplies for Thatcher, but if they have an equine section, look for it. Finally, on the cornstarch, we used it on the faces of our wheaten scotties before dog shows and it whitened their beards nicely. Hope that helps!
